Vinfolio Inc., which sells wine and helps wine collectors, said Monday that 10 people invested $1.6 million in the company.

Jean Michel Valette, a former chairman of Robert Mondavi winery, and Colin Lind of Blum Capital Partners LP led the investment, and both of them will take seats on Vinfolio’s board of directors.

Stephen Bachmann founded Vinfolio in 2003 and has been its sole investor himself since then. This is the first outside investment in the San Francisco company.
